MILLWALL are set to sign Celtic midfielder Daniel Kelly in this transfer window.
The Lions had an agreement to sign eighteen-year-old Kelly after the expiry of his contract on December 31 but that wasn’t ideal for any of the parties involved.
It would have left Kelly playing for Celtic B in the Lowland League, the Scottish Premiership side without a transfer fee and the Lions without a player they see as potentially making a first-team impact.
The clubs have now agreed a fee, which the Daily Record report to be around £400,000.
Kelly will undergo a medical in London early this week.
Kelly made his senior debut for Brendan Rodgers’ side last season, scoring one goal – on his league debut – in six appearances.
East Kilbride’s Kelly is a left-footed box-to-box midfielder.
