DAVID Livermore revealed Aidomo Emakhu would likely be out until March with a groin injury.
Emakhu, 21, came off injured thirteen minutes into the Lions’ clash with Norwich City on Boxing Day, and Livermore confirmed the bad news after Millwall’s 0-0 draw with Coventry City on Sunday.
“It’s not particularly good news unfortunately for Aidomo,” Livermore said. “It’s a grade three C. He still needs to see the specialist but I don’t think you will be seeing him before March time.”
It looked like Millwall would be handed even more bad news after Liam Roberts, Ryan Wintle and Wes Harding all missed the Lions’ match-day squad, but Livermore revealed there were no long-term issues.
“I think since Friday we’ve almost lost a player a day, unfortunately. Just a bit of sickness going around the place,” Livermore said. “Obviously Billy Mitchell missed Christmas Day and then Ryan Wintle was unwell Friday, Liam Roberts was unwell yesterday, Wes Harding was unwell this morning, so that’s why they’re absent.”
